The Committee received the report of the Chief Planning Officer, together with information and details received after the agenda was prepared.

17/00826/FUL – 6 NORTON LANE, GREAT WYRLEY, WS6 6PE -  APPLICANT – MR DAVID JOHN EVANS – PARISH – GREAT WYRLEY

This application had been deferred to allow the Coal Authority to be re-consulted.  

RESOLVED: that the application was approved, subject to a Unilateral Undertaking concerning a SAC contribution as recommended, with the following additional condition:

 

Condition 9

Before the development commences, a scheme of intrusive site investigations to assess the ground conditions and the potential risks posed to the development by past shallow coal mining activity shall be carried out and a subsequent report, detailing the findings of the site investigations, including the results of any gas monitoring and a scheme of proposed remedial works including the design of foundations, shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority for approval. The development shall be carried out in accordance with any remedial works approved

17/01015/FUL – 10B SHOP LANE, BREWOOD, ST19 9EB – APPLICANT – MRS SHIRLEY YOUNG  – PARISH – BREWOOD & COVEN

Shirley Ann Young spoke for the application.

Councillor W Sutton motioned that the application be refused on the grounds of impacting on the amenity of the neighbouring property in line with policy EQ1. This was seconded by Councillor K Williams.  The motion was not carried.  

RESOLVED: that the application be approved as recommended subject to the following conditions:

  1. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved drawings: Location Plan 1_2 rec’d 27/11/17 Rear Elevation rec’d 27/11/17 Floor Plan rec’d 10/11/17.

  2. Within three months of the date of this approval the two rear-most windows pains which face north east shall be fitted with obscure glazing. The windows shall remain as obscure glazed units for the lifetime of the development.

17/00855/FUL – 5 WHITE PUMP FARM, WATLING STREET, IVETSY BANK, STAFFORD, ST19 9QU – APPLICANT – MR P CAMBIDGE – PARISH – BREWOOD & COVEN

RESOLVED : that the application be approved as recommended with an amendment to condition 2 (approved plans) to include drawing no. HD 002, showing north west and south west elevations, as it was omitted in error.

17/00911/FUL – YEW TREE COTTAGE, BENT LANE, WHISTON, STAFFORD, ST19 5QH – APPLICANT – RACHEL MARSHALL – PARISH – PENKRIDGE

RESOLVED: that the application be approved as recommended with an amendment to condition 2 (materials) to read as follows:

  Condition 2

The development shall be finished in the approved facing materials listed below unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority :-  

  1. New Dwelling: The re-use of facing brickwork and 'Rosemary' roof tiles of the original (pre-existing) dwelling, and/or reclaimed facing brickwork and roof tiles to closely match the original in terms of both colour and texture.

  2. New Garage: Ibstock 'Watergate Blend' facing brickwork and Marley Edgemere Interlocking Smooth Grey roof tiles.
